The "Actual problems of teaching foreign languages in non-linguistic higher school in the modern educational paradigm" collection includes materialsof the extramural scientific-practical conference.
New goals and objectives of language education of students involve changes in the level of foreign language proficiency, definition of the new techniques, approaches to content selection and organization of material, use of modern teaching methods, forms and control types. Today, the graduates perceive the foreign language as a tool that provides access to information received in different ways in oral and written communication. The modern specialist will be in demand in the sphere of production or in the market through training, knowledge and skills acquired in the learning process at the university.
Studies were conducted on the material of English, Russian, German and French languages and touched on a wide range of philology and pedagogy problems.
The authors hope that this collection will evoke interest among teachers of foreign languages and Russian language, undergraduate and graduate students of faculties of foreign languages and philological faculties, and also will be useful to all interested readers.
