In today’s fast-changing world only those specialists who possess professional self-development competencies can remain competitive. Intentional formation of these competencies in students requires a particular arrangement of the educational processes in a university; it also requires that the university lecturers demonstrate sufficient mastery of the respective educational technologies. Considering the importance of this topic, this monograph presents the results of a relevant scholarly research which has been conducted by the authors in Kazan National Research Technological University; these results formed part of the successfully defended doctoral thesis. This monograph can be of interest for university lecturers, methodologists and PhD researchers who work with questions pertaining to professional self-development.
